So I took it out of the angel?s hand, and swallowed it; it was as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it my stomach turned sour. LYCO? What's that?
LYCO is an acronym representing "Loubiere Youth Catholic Organisation" or the
"Loubiere Young Catholics Organisation".
It is a catholic church youth group falling under the administration of the Diocese of Roseau,
Dominica.
Its home lies within Loubiere, Dominica and the neighbouring
communities and membership consists young persons both male and female aged 14 and above. Most of the members are
youth catholics who have received the "Sacrament of Confirmation" in the Roman Catholic Church.

OFFICE HOURS: - Mondays: 9:00am to 11:00am; and
- Wednesdays: 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
Mission
The New LYCO Vision and Mission:
The theme held on the retreat from the 20th-22nd of October was “ Recapturing the mind, mission and vision”.
At the retreat discussion of the new vision and goals of LYCO led to the dividision of the group into various
committees so that everyone has the opportunity to play a role in the group.
After much discussion the group agreed that our new vision is to:
- promote mutual respect of the faith; and
- promote and practice our Christian virtues.
Hence the new LYCO mission is:
“ Mutual respect of the faith and practice of Christian virtues”
